The holiday party for 2008
was again held at Ann
& Tony's Restaurant in West Jefferson. Nearly 40 people
attended, and we completely filled the
room. Don LeFavour - WA8OWR, our re-elected club President,
announced the Club officers for 2009, who were also all re-elected to
their 2nd term. President Don also presented special awards to
Mark Crosbie (N8MNI) for Amateur of the Year, Don Kovalchik (W8DPK) for
Service as Repeater Trustee and Technical Advisor, and to Bob Lewis
(N8GU) for outstanding service as Activities Chair for the past several
years.
As usual, the food at Ann and Tony's was excellent, and the staff did a
great job hosting our party.
